New shows added
2011 has kicked off with an awesome set at Elizapalooza. Tracer have added a surprise slot playing on the Glenelg Foreshore as well as a spot on the Fuse Festival line up at Enigma bar.

Tracer to play Elizapalpooza!
The northern suburbs festival Elizapalooza returns for its third year with Tracer, The Killgirls, Poetikool Justice, Pagen Elypsis and Truth Corroded among the headliners for the January event at the Northern Sound System on Sat Jan 15 that will feature an indoor and outdoor stage with live music, as well as a chill out room featuring DJs.
Unlike previous years, the 2011 installment of Elizapalooza features a South Australian-only line-up of music across the rock, electro, hip hop, punk, metal and pop spectrums, as festival organiser PJ Murton explains.
Elizapalooza will be held at the Northern Sound System (Elizabeth) on Sat Jan 15 from 1pm to 11.30pm. Tickets are $15 for the licensed and all-ages event and are available from VenueTix.

Fighterpilot's last show
Just a quick one, a great South Aussie band Fighterpilot are calling it a day after 10 years. Tracer are honoured to be closing the show at the Ed Castle for the guys on the 19th of November. A show not to be missed, get along to it.

Homecoming show

Tracer signs Worldwide Record Deal!
Today, after ten weeks of negotiations, we can proudly announce that Tracer has signed to Dutch record label Cool Green Recordings (Mascot Records sub-label)...wooooohoooo!
Needless to say the band is incredibly excited and it feels like the last six years of hard work, great and shit gigs, smelly vans, endless hours of travel and our dwindling bank accounts have finally paid off.... more

Tracer is excited to announce that they have been selected to perform at Popkomm in Berlin this September. Popkomm is one of the biggest industry showcases in the world so this is a big step for the band. More details on exact show times to come later this month.

New Single
The band has just about finished up recording the new single set for release in Europe in September and Australia in October/November. It's sounding pretty awesome at the moment, the band can't wait to set it loose upon you all!

Outdoor Shows including Shimmering West
Tracer is looking forward to a couple of big shows coming up in the next fortnight. First off the band is playing at the UniSA City East O'week celbrations on friday the 26th of Feb. It's a free show with Tracer playing at 4:15pm in the plaza area.
The next big show is the outdoor festival that is Shimmering West as part of the Fringe. Held on the lawns outside Higher Ground and the State Arts Centre on Light Sq. Tracer will be playing with Illicit Eve in the Garden of the West. Fully licensed so come along, tickets are $8ea.
